7.東海とうかい1日にち周遊しゅうゆう旅行りょこう3 ; キリンビール工場こうじょう見学けんがく Tokai one day round trip 3 ; Kirin Beer Factory Tour

熱田あつた神宮じんぐうの後あと、私わたしたちはキリンビール工場こうじょうを見学けんがくするために清須きよす市しに行いきました。
After Atsuta Shrine, we went to Kiyosu City to observe the Kirin Beer Factory.

※きよすと発音はつおんされる漢字かんじの組くみ合あわせは2種類しゅるいあります。
*There are two sets of kanjis (Chinese Characters) that are pronounced Kiyosu.

一ひとつは「清洲きよす」もう一ひとつは「清須きよす」です。
One is “清洲”, and the other one is “清須”.

元々もともと「清洲きよす」と「須ヶ口すかぐち」という二ふたつの地名ちめいがありました。
Originally there were two names of places called “清洲” and “須ヶ口(Sukaguchi)”.

「清須きよす」はそれらを合あわせた造語ぞうごです。
“清須” is a coinage from them.

私わたしたちはツアーを楽たのしみ、キリン一番いちばん搾しぼりについて学まなびました。
We enjoyed the tour and learned about Kirin Ichiban Shibori Beer.

参加費さんかひは、500円えんです。
Participation fee is 500 yen.

ビールの定義ていぎと作つくり方かたを学まなびました。
We learned the definition of beer and how to brew it.

大麦おおむぎとホップを厳選げんせんします。
Handpick barley and hop.

一番搾いちばんしぼり麦汁ばくじゅうと二番搾にばんしぼり麦汁ばくじゅうの飲のみ比くらべをしました。
We tasted and compared the first and the second press wort.

一番搾いちばんしぼり麦汁ばくじゅうは甘味あまみが強つよく、粘ねばり気けがありました。
The first press wort was very sweet and sticky.

二番搾にばんしぼり麦汁ばくじゅうは甘味あまみが薄うすく、さっぱりしていました。
The second press wort was not so sweet, and it was plain.

私わたしは「二番煎にばんせんじ」という言葉ことばの意味いみを噛かみ締しめました。
I thought deeply about the meaning of a Japanese word “二番煎じ(Nibann-Sennji)”.

二番煎にばんせんじとは、元々もともとは一度いちど煎せんじた茶葉ちゃばをもう一度いちど煎せんじたお茶ちゃのことであり、焼やき直なおしです。
Nibann-Sennji originally means a second brew of tea, using the same leaves, and it is a rehash.

一般的いっぱんてきにビールは一番搾いちばんしぼり麦汁ばくじゅうと二番搾にばんしぼり麦汁ばくじゅうから作られますが、キリンは一番搾いちばんしぼり麦汁ばくじゅうだけを使つかって一番搾いちばんしぼりを醸造じょうぞうします。
Generally, beer is made from the first and second press wort, but Kirin brews Ichiban Shibori only from the first press wort.

キリンは温度おんど、圧力あつりょく、水分すいぶん量りょう、酵母こうぼや酸素さんそ濃度のうどなどの発酵はっこう条件じょうけんを調整ちょうせいしてそれを創造そうぞうしました。
Kirin created it by adust fermentation conditions such as temperature, pressure, amount of water, yeast, and density of oxygen.

ツアー終了後しゅうりょうごに3種類しゅるいの一番搾いちばんしぼりを飲のみ比くらべました。
After the tour ended, we tasted and compared 3 kinds of Ichiban Shibori.

私わたしは下戸げこなので、代かわりにキリン製品せいひんのリンゴジュースやストレートティーを堪能たんのうしました。
Since I never drink, I enjoyed Kirin products apple juice and straight tea instead.

ビスケットとチーズ柿かきピーも美味おいしかったです。
Biscuits and Cheese Kameda Chips (crispy rice crackers with roasted peanuts) were also delicious.

これらのお菓子かしは他社たしゃ製品せいひんですが、キリン工場こうじょう見学けんがく向むけの特別とくべつなパッケージがされています。
These confectioneries are other companies’ products, but they are packaged specially for Kirin Factory Tours.

工場こうじょうの右側みぎがわのタンクは、ビールのように塗装とそうされています。
The tanks of the factory on the right side are painted like beer.
