6.東海とうかい1日にち周遊旅行しゅうゆうりょこう2 ; 熱田神宮あつたじんぐう Tokai one day round trip 2 ; Atsuta Shrine

昼食後ちゅうしょくご、私わたしたちは熱田神宮あつたじんぐうに行いきました。
After lunch, We went to Atsuta Shrine.

そこには烏骨鶏うこっけいがいました。
There were silky fowls there.

彼かれらは人馴ひとなれしているので、近ちかづいて撮影さつえいすることができました。
They have gotten used to people, so I could get close to one and take a photograph.

私わたしたちは1組くみの巨大きょだいな石燈籠いしどうろうを見みました。
We saw a pair of huge stone lanterns.

佐久間さくま燈籠どうろうと呼よばれています。
It’s called Sakuma Stone Lantern.

看板かんばんに書かかれている内容ないようは以下いかの通とおりです。
The contents written on the sign are as follows ;

尾張国おわりのくに御器所ごきその城主じょうしゅ佐久間さくま盛次もりつぐの四男よんなん大膳亮たいぜんりょう勝之かつゆきが海上かいじょうで台風たいふうに遭あった際さい、当とう神宮じんぐうに守護しゅごを祈いのり難なんを免まぬがれたので、寛永かんえい7年ねん(1630年ねん)その御礼おれいとして寄進きしんされた。

When a lord of Gokiso Castle in Owari Province (Western part of today’s Aichi Prefecture), Sakuma Moritsugu’s fourth son Taizennryou Katsuyuki encountered a typhoon on the sea, he prayed for Atsuta Shrine to protect him, and he survived in the difficulties, so he donated the stone lantern in return in 1630.

京都きょうと南禅寺なんぜんじ、東京とうきょう上野うえの東照宮とうしょうぐうの大燈籠おおとうろうと共ともに日本にほん三大さんだい燈籠とうろうとして名高なだかい。
It’s famous for Japanese Three Great Stone Lanterns along with Kyoto Nanzen Temple and Tokyo Ueno Toshogu Shrine.

私わたしたちは信長塀のぶながべいを見みました。
We saw the Nobunaga Wall.

織田信長おだのぶながは桶狭間おけはざまの戦たたかいの直前ちょくぜんに、熱田あつた神宮じんぐうで戦勝せんしょう祈願きがんをしました。
Oda Nobunaga prayed for his victory in the shrine just before the battle of Okehazama.

彼かれは戦いくさに勝かち、塀へいを寄進きしんしました。
He won the battle, and donated the wall.

彼かれは荒廃こうはいした神宮じんぐうに心こころを痛いため、何度なんども造営ぞうえいしました。
He was concerned about the ruined shrine, and repeatedly built buildings there.
